Who says it's a test mule?

The production model E90 Coupe is due to be released to dealers in the UK 'next month'

The car looks real, it is just the placement of the numbers that looks off to me. IMO I think it looks good better then I thought it would.

Well the UK launch to dealers is 3rd week of March (from memory) so they're all going to be really surprised going along to a launch if the car isn't there...

Believe what you want, but I'm sure we'll see more pictures to confirm it over the next few weeks.

The picture was published in the UK Magazine Autocar this morning and I have no doubt that it's the E90 coupe being reversed off a transportation truck.

That's what they said about the photos of the Z4 Coupe posted last month, then a few days later we had exactly the same official photos released by BMW.

Can't you tell?

No, it's not!

Take your time and notice all the details (interior trim, mirrors, wheels, shapes etc.)

I think we are all a bit confused at the moment, thanks to some jokers on the board...

So Tine and SpeedFreak! have been right all the time! OMG!

Tine was even describing the rearlight would look just like the ones on this spy pic. And that Coupe will be labeled as "i" only no more "Ci"!

OMG!!! Have we banned the real BMW insider?

Just to clear up any confusuion, The E90 Coupe will not be launched publicly next month, just to UK dealers who will be visiting the Rockingham BMW Centre and shown the E90 Coupe together with other model updates. Then it is due to go on sale around 3 months later.

If that is the coupé, it looks like the Renault Laguna

I suppose that might be because BMW originally intended to differentiate the E90 Coupe as a model in it's own right - hence all the talk about all Coupe BMWs being given an 'even number' (i.e. 4 Series).

I guess calling it a 335Ci would continue this idea that it's a coupe version of the saloon, whereas BMW want it to be seen as a model on it's own. Hence calling it 335i.

I wonder if that implies that the turbo six will 'only' be fitted to the Coupe?

There will be no "c" anymore, only "i" or "si". Like they do since facelifting the Z4.
