Run flats again.
The time has come for me to change out the rear tyres on my 435i, currently has Pirelli P zero runflats, which i have found to be ok.
Im tempted to go with MPSS which seems to be popular with the board, but would need to replace the front two as well (currently on 5mm each). Average price fitted for the pirelli rears is around £210 each. Any wise words of advice from people ??? I assume that i would have to inform the insurance. Thanks in advance.. |

Insurance unlikely to care
Get a pack of Slime from Amazon Keep the Pirellis for when you p/x; dealer won't retail without Star marked tyres.

Just replaced all four on my 435i. Stuck to run-flats and kept to the same as when it came from the factory....Goodyear Eagle F1's....best make of run flat I've had in nine years I've been running on RFT's.
The first set of Goodyears have done 30k miles (including German autobahn speeds) without issue! Just my experience for what it's worth! |

No complaints from the Pirellis either apart from they have only covered 15k, may have been a touch to heavy footed lately :thump:
Should be no issues with different brands and if i go Eagles on rear, will do the same for front when required...do they have rim protection ? Cheers |

I know it's off topic smoggyboro, but where you from I'm close to boro area and my f30 is noticeable if anyone on here saw me. I don't see many around here that I think ' that's nice'. Local BMW don't seem very bothered to discount m performance bits.

I keep an eye out on eBay for some cheep but brand new tyres. I've done this a few times now and usually get a pair for between £200 - £300 fitted. I've had bridgestone's and perrellis and been perfectly happy with both. So it always seems an expensive option to move away from runflats, especially taking into account the trade in/vt issues

I'm near whitby, not many noticeable bmw around here. I see you have a 435, but if anyone on here has a unmodified 16 reg 335d EBII and you were near whitby today.......... you need to wash it was shocking.
