Since, to the best of my knowledge, the rear window should be the same as the standard M4, you may wish to check existing threads to see if this has been covered.

You could perhaps search in this thread:

http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1020301

Or, if you don't see the answer there, then there are many others:

http://www.google.com/search?q=windo...bimmerpost.com

No guarantee it has been covered, but it is probably worth a look.

Sorry let me clarify. Since there is a roll cage in the GTS how will a installer get back there? Unless the roll cage can be removed.

I see your point now. I'm sure the roll cage can be removed, but just how difficult this might be, I don't know. I did find this:

http://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-g...llcage-on.html

So, others have gone through it (albeit, for a different car with different passenger cabin, obviously). I guess you would probably be best off either finding a tint shop who has some experience either maneuvering around the cage, or have someone qualified (a reputable tuner would seem to be a good possible resource) remove the cage for you before taking it to the shop.

Still trying to think if this is possible with roll cage? Or you think is it worth for them to remove it, add tint, the reinstall roll cage. Don't want to remove the window.

I plan on tracking my car too, in fact I have thunder hill west booked for dec 11 but still like the look of the tint.

So has anyone actually done this? I'm not removing the window either......

I prefer the no tint look, the dot matrix leaves a "white" mark around it. Also have to show off that sexy roll cage.

Just a warning, the floor boards in the roll cage area is weak and cannot support anything heavy like a human being.

Trying to visualize this. Almost seems impossible and the installer had to be pretty small. But that's awesome. Pics?

Took about 2 hours for that single portion and they managed to get the smallest guy to basically climb thru the cage.
