those dicks, people have no respect these days. the other week i pulled into the Safeway parking lot and as i was getting out this kid was getting into a car on the passenger side of my car, hits my car with his door and just gets in, then the kid's mom looks over at me for a second, shrugs and gets in her car and drives off. I'm sitting there like WTF b*tch?!?! teach your damn kid some manners and public etiquette.

the worst part about this, is i try SOOOOOOOO hard for this to not happen. everyday when i get to work i either park in the back of my store where no customers park, or i park in this one sweet spot RIGHT in front of my store where 1. i can watch my car alll day and 2. im have in a handicap ramp(hahaha) so my car is far away from anyone else that parks on the other side. every once in a while i have to park somewhere else for an hour until one of those two spots open up.

I found parking next to minivans with sliding door to work pretty well.
one less possiblitiy of getting a door ding.

you are not an asshole if you double park where NO ONE wants to park.. just park in like the very back of any parking lot and you can take up 2 or 3 spaces. its politically correct, i think

I'm always afraid to take up more than one space. It's asking for a keying.

I always park my car at the end of a parking lot if I can. But if theres no space i try to park as close to the curb or line of the parking lot so that if an asshole wants to open their door all the way they can and ill be safe.

I think most people have the thought that ..."If they can afford that car, then they can afford the repair bill too"...effing retards. I park at the end of parking lots but it never seems to matter as when I come out of the store everyone else and their rust bucket car has parked around me, and there are spaces opened everywhere else.

That happened to me too! I was about to attempt it using touch up paint, but knowing how useless I am with touch up paint (I usually make a mess of it) - I just took a black permanent market and filled in the little scratch. It worked really well - granted my car is black!

With the sharp crease on the E90 body side, is the car more susceptible to parking lot dings?
