Car has been at the dealers now for 3 days now as I had a problem with the side view camera's. It was only showing the right hand side briefly before going blank and displaying a error on the dashboard. They indicated it was due to corrosion and are replacing the wiring harness and possible the control module! Hate to think what it would cost if it was not being done under warranty, does make me slightly concerned about the the long term reliability! Has anyone else experience problems with their cameras? I presume that when they have completed the work I can request a report, would be good to know what they have done/replaced.

On a slight different issue does any one know how long the internet option last for when it is specified on a new car? Is it three years or do you have to renew after the first year.

Unless they've changed it, it's £95 per year.

I had the same on two cars with surround view, was a water ingress problem on both occasions.... both cars were fine after the repair, but a little odd have two out of two fail.

I'm kind of glad I didn't spec surround view now!
