Post Quick question (LOC wires)

I am fairly new to audio stuff. Especially in BMWs. Want to install a 12" sub into my car. Ordered stuff in the links below. Should that all work? And next, what wires do i tap into for the LOC? I believe i have the Hi-Fi system (tweeters in the front and silver amp in left side of trunk). Thanks for any input. If these questions have been asked before im sorry, just please point me in the right direction. Thanks a ton!

If you have an 07 and the amp is silver you have L7

f you have an 07 and the amp is silver you have L7
L7 is also identified by the center dash speaker and
equalizer controls instead of simple bass and volume in the
radio or idrive.
Also in 07 the L7 was standard in the 335.

The Technic sub adapter is usually used for this.

I don't have center speaker or equalizer. Just bass and treble. Non-idrive and also 328 not 335. But ill take a look at the links you posted. Thanks!

The silver Hi Fi amp didn't get to the US till 2011

The silver Hi Fi amp didn't get to the US till 2011
as far as I know.

Mine was black in an 06 and that use to be one of the distinguishing
factors up until the end of 09 in the US .
Anyway you can always do a on line vin check to be triply redundant.
