Just wanted to post a picture of my my new 7 series on savini 22s. It also has full tint even the windshield. Also all the chrome has been wrapped in gloss black vinyl. It has m performance front kidney grills and pedals. Next mods hope to be a lowering kit and m performance trunk lip.

How's the ride with the 22's? What tires do you have on them? I just got my new 750x drive and my summer wheels from the last 7 (2013) didn't fit so I looking into getting a new set. Thanks.

Honestly there is a little vibration with the 22s which is expected but I went with a pirelli p zero tire and I am happy with the set up. Would like it lower or the ability to lower and rise to a height that I desire but hopefully that happens soon. I also just ordered the m performance trunk lip so hopefully that comes in next week.

Why didn't the old wheels from the f01 fit? The new g12 has the same sized wheel and tires and offset as the old one. :

What! Where did you hear this, and what did it change to?

My info says 5x120 bolt pattern and 72.5 cb like always.

I also assumed nothing had changed and so I ordered some winter wheels a while back for a 7 on order thinking I was smart and I'd have everything ready when the car arrived. Well it arrived, and I tried to put the winter wheels/tires on and surprise, they didn't fit. If memory serves, the new specs are 5x112 and 66.6 cb, now the same as Mercedes I think.

Also, if you are in Canada, the new 7 uses tire pressure sensors, the last one didn't. Even the dealer didn't believe me when I called for a price on sensors, they built all their winter sets in stock without sensors and where not to happy to hear they had to break them all down and add sensors. I think this is the first BMW in Canada with sensors.

I also noticed you took pix in the UTC mall, a stone through from where I live. Nice to see familiar urban scape.

May be you can answer my question, buddy.

My build sheet says that M package includes sport steering wheel and sport automatic transmission. It is called M package 337 on the build. Everywhere I look it says that M pack is only about aesthetics. At the same time build sheet talks about M exhaust which I suppose is louder than stock (?) and other items mentioned earlier that affect driving experience.

Did some googling, and while my normal source says 5x120, I found a few sites that says 5x112, so I guess it's true, same as Audi and Mercedes then.

Vibration with wheels from MHT is common.

I guess I imaged the whole thing then. Honestly, I am not reporting something I heard or read, but from experience with the car.

Now that I've had another heart attack, you are indeed correct. 5x112 CB66.5 on production cars so far.

My confusion came from sending out prototype wheels with 5x120 in both CB72.5 and 74.1 nor is there notation in the service manuals like are shown with i8 and i3.
