I have no personaly experience with powder coating. Are you asking about quality or whether we think it would look good?

i wish that you could find turbines that are like 10" wide... cause i have them on my car and love them, but i want a staggered setup really bad to get a meatier tire back there.
Powder Coating is a great durrable finish and you can get just about any color you'd want as they can be custom mixed for a price. FYI when you go custom you are usually required to buy a minimum of 1 box. Colors uaually come in 50lb boxes and if you want a custom match it'd most likely be about $12-$13 a pound vs. a stock color that runs about $2-$3 a lb (these are distrubutor prices of course and have no retail markup on them). Problem with going custom is that at most you only need 6-7lbs of powder for a set of wheels. But if money is no problem you can go that route. as far as colors go, the obvious choices are an anthracite grey or black... but on a wheel like the turbine, i'm afraid black will just end up looking like brake dust....?? |

I learn something new every day. Now that I can see the pics I think a dark grey/gunmetal powder coating would look awesome!
