Chuckwalla CCW with the BMW CCA on board video

Hey guys,

This video is my last session of the weekend at Chuckwalla this weekend running CCW direction in Group A
Best lap time: 2''10''61 (last lap in the video)

Car: BMW M235i 6MT completely stock
Running Dunlop Direzza ZII tires 245-40-17 all around

The weekend was amazing, nice weather, perfect conditions on track and the M235 did really well. I could definitely hold my own in the A group.

This was my first time recording video and data using Harry's lap timer app for IOS. I am truly astonished at the video quality and what this app can do for $20 !! My lap times improved from 2'18's on the first session down to my best lap of the weekend of 2"10"61 (last lap in the video)

For reference, a 2"05 is an excellent time for similar power to weight ratio cars running mods, full suspension and R-comps.
BMW CCA IP race cars run in the 1''58 to 2 minutes flat range (for competitive IP cars). So needless to say I am pretty happy with my time.

Please enjoy and let me know where you think I could have improved.

Guys, here's where the good lap starts: [u2b]https://youtu.be/5EgqtdiLwMU?t=833[/u2b]
OP, suggestion: Don't get signed off anymore. With the right right-seat coach, there's lots more in there. Besides that, great job!

Congrats Ramos! Nice laps and nice video. Your line looked pretty good to me and you easily overtook those older BMW 3 series cars.

You did ask for improvement suggestions, so I would say to watch and study Randy P's hot lap at Chuckwalla recently with a Mustang GT350 on stock rubber. His time was 2:00:820. Of course, that car has 526 hp and it is Randy P behind the wheel!

Right hand seat coaching comes with a 180 lbs weight penalty lol

Awesome video. You did a great job -- 2:10 is a very, very respectable time (although I've only run that track CW, so I don't know what CCW feels like).

One suggestion -- camber plates and/or M3 LCAs. You dealt with the under steer very, very well, but it might help to throw a bit more camber in the front.

Also, I love your HLT setup. The accelerometer in the corner is a hoot. The fact that this car will consistently corner from .9g-1.1g on street tires is impressive, period.

Never driven there, but your line looks good and you use all of the track. Very cool!
