Now it has been quite a while since I owned a petrol car and that was a TVR so quite a hairy beast.
In the current car merry go round until the wife and I new cars arrive I am now driving a Skoda Fabia petrol turbo (no s******ing at the back).

While it is only a 1.2, has 2 cylinders short of a 6 pot and 210odd bhp short of a 340 its still a modern turbo petrol and I am quite enjoying it.

Its a nice change to be able to rev an engine to more than 4-5k and still make progress (obviously not that fast mind).

It actually makes an alright sound as well and is silent on tick over. All in all I am very much looking forward to being a petrol family again!

Need to remember to use the green optimax pump mind you...

Yep once my wife got her 208 GTI, the nails where firmly in the diesel side of things.

I think this is only my 4th diesel car.

I borrow her car as much as I can, it's really good fun having 208bhp in such a small car, can really throw it around
