Some fun facts about the HVI.

1. Made from high grade 6061 aluminum.

2. Dyno proven 12-15whp gain in the mid range and 20 lbs of tq gain!! (on v2 equipped car) Dyno tests prove that power gains are exponential as boost is increased!!

3. 1 piece design for better airflow. smooth transitions. No abrupt bends.

4. Comes with k&N air filter.

5. Installs in 10-15 mins with normal hand tools.

6. No warranty issues, because it can be left on or removed hassle free.

7. No risk of destroying engine due to water ingestion.

8. No need to cut your car to install.

9. weighs only 1.47 lbs plus the filter.

10. No need to removed your bumper to install.

11. Mandrel bent for improved airflow.

12. Laser cut brackets.

13. No check engine lights.

Nope, stock diverter valves. I suppose its just the intake! We burned half tank of fuel just listening to the wonderfull sound of the HVI. Thank's for the compliments! It means great deal to us!!

Best Regards,

Do you have a before and after dyno? And, is the intake getting cold air, or hot air? Tx.

Sounds nice ,it kinda looks like a polished version of the "VIP" intake.

Didn't we already discuss about such a design with sharp angles should be avoided to allow better airflow to the front turbo ?

Logic, please post a photo of this thing in the engine on this thread. I don't want to treasure hunt in that other thread which is 9 pages long. Also post the pre and post dyno results here. Many tx.

No problem! Would you mind waiting to see our final product? They should be back by this sat. All we have is prelimanary photos in raw aluminum finish. Our intake was designed to fit nicely in the engine bay with a wrinkle black powder coat to match the rest of the engine bay.

Would you still like to see those?

All the Best,
Huy

Sounds awesome - Does the ten to fifteen minutes include removing the stock airbox?

So I've seen so many of these intakes being released. I'm just confused as to whether all of them are just "dyno glory/drag strip" intakes or will the extra power they add still be there after an hour of driving. I've read that they will probably need boxes designed around them to reduce heat?

Explain it to me E90AW335, please.

I also am surprised a heat shield is not utilized - It doesn't look like a true cold air intake, but more like a short ram intake.
