HKS CAMP2

Well, I was doing a little research on how to integrate gauges into the factory Idrive display. I knew about the old HKS CAMP system and I found they now have a new system that picks up the data through the OBDII system.

That probably isn't ideal for those of us who are using a piggyback since the signals going through the OBDII will not be accurate for most of what we want to measure but, I still think it's pretty cool and I haven't seen anything about it on here.

You can add additional sensors independent of the OEM sensors just like you would if you were installing traditional gauges but, not as nice as ust plugging into the OBDII. I didn't see anything about it being CAN capable but, Id have to assume it is since it is pretty new and more and more OEM's are going CAN.

Wow, never knew they made another version... This one looks a lot better...

I wonder if it'll work on our cars though cause I know the MSD Dash Hawk thing isnt compatible.

Says the guy with the super sprint exhaust.

Doesn't the Idrive have some type of video input? What do they use for the backup camera on euro models?

I'm sure if there were enough interest HKS would make a harness for our cars. Maybe what ever shop it is that's working with them on an exhaust could talk to them about this.
