Spotify Now Allows Navigating While ConnectedDrive

When connecting the phone to play Spotify, I noticed that now, with the latest Spotify update, you can dismiss the BMW/Spotify logo page and navigate in the app freely.

I found the ConnectedDrive Spotify interface intuitive, but still lack a lot of features available only in the app.

Now this is obviously is not safe while driving but is convenient when you have passengers to play music and select songs within the App.

Hi there. I have always used spotify using apple usb cable with my previous car and the new one i got with EBT. I have BMW apps but havent explored the system yet due to being busy with something else.

My question is, can I use spotify through BT streaming and still able to control everything via idrive?

Thanks

No, you'll just be able to stream music but no control thru idrive interface. You would need to have the phone connected thru USB for that.
