How does it compare?

BMW produces internal brochures called "Product Selling Points" for use by dealer sales staff. The PSP for the X6 has some interesting propaganda:

Zero to 100km/h (62 MPH):
Range Rover Sport V8 Supercharged: 7.6s
Porsche Cayenne S: 6.6s
Infiniti FX45: 6.4s
Jaguar XK 4.2 V8 Coupe: 6.2
Porsche Cayenne GTS: 6.1s
Porsche Cayman: 6.1s
X6 50i: 5.4s

Horsepower:
Range Rover Sport V8 Supercharged: 390
Porsche Cayenne S: 385
X6 50i: 407

Average fuel consumption (liters /100 km -- lower is better):
Range Rover Sport V8 Supercharged: 15.9
Porsche Cayenne S: 14.9
X6 50i: 12.5
X6 35i: 10.9
X6 35d: 8.3
X6 30d: 8.2

CO2 emissions (g/km):
RR Sport V8 Supercharged: 374
Porsche Cayenne S: 358
X6 50i: 299
X6 35i: 262
X6 35d: 220
X6 30d: 217

Drag coefficient (Cd):
Smart fortwo: 0.37
X6: 0.33

Rear-seat headroom (mm):
Mercedes C Class: 942
X6: 944

Luggage capacity (liters):
VW Touareg: 555
X6: 570

Nurburgring Nordschleife lap times (min:sec):
Maserati 3200 GT: 8:37
X6 50i: 8:35

Hey, I don't write this stuff, I just report it!

Looks like you have a blue Weim. I have an 8 month old pup. Pretty smart dog but rambunctious.

I'm #1 for an M3 cabriolet but the snow dump that we've had this year has me leaning towards the X6. It looks like the X6 50 will have similar performance and fuel numbers as the M3 cab. Have you any info re Canadian prices? Considering the M3 prices for the US and Canada I would estimate the X6 50 base price around $78 - 79k - a little less than the M3 cab.

1. Suzie is a Great Dane. Hard to tell from a photo of just her eye!

2. See my post (#3) in the Official X6 Pricing Thread.
