335i clutch question
Im sure this is covered somewhere but i cannot find it. So my clutch is starting to slip and i need to upgrade anyways because i plan to make over 500rwhp anyways in the next month or so. I dont want the 335is clutch as there is no proof as to if they can handle those power levels reliably (unless someone can give info ortherwise) i also will not be upgrading flywheel. I want to keep the stock flywheel and noticed spec has a stage 2 clutch (not the stage 2+). Anyone running this clutch with stock flywheel. Main reason i dont want the stg 2+ Is one i dont care for lightweight flywheel and its chatter but the one thing i can not do at all is the drive on that clutch. Drove another 335i with that setup and the clutch feel was waaay to stiff for daily driving. Is there a difference in pedal feel? And are those just as strong as stage 2+??

the IS clutch if i remember correctly is only rated for like 450ft/lbs of torque. Possibly underated, but if you really are loooking for over 500whp. I would go with a Stage 2+.
Have you had any symptoms associated with a failing Stock flywheel? |

Been using Spec stage 1 and stage 2 clutches for over 18 years.... They are rated VERY conservatively. A stage 2 would be plenty. My last Spec stage 2 held 775rwhp/596tq without an issue..
