My buddy and I installed an escort 9500 in my M3 today. Now I have a passenger restraint error coming up. I am not sure how to proceed.

Here's the events that lead me to the issue.
-Much of the dash below the steering wheel was removed
- air bag unit was not disconnected.
- rear view mirror was removed from the car
- I reassembled the car and drove for 20mins without a problem.
- fuse number 20 was removed and an add-a-fuse was used.
-radar detect functioned but the error came up.
- original fuse is reinstalled

What should I do?
1. Clear the code
2. Read the code? I do not have this ability yet
3. Does the computer need to be reset?
4. Go to the dealer
