M2 vs M235i Side By Side Comparo

I was privileged to be at the world famous Laguna Seca racetrack yesterday for an HPDE and low and behold, we pull into the paddock to find about 20+ M2's!!!

Needless to say, I snapped up a couple shots side by side with my girl's(yup) manual(yup!) M235i for comparison.

The M2 is fantastic in person; super super wide and aggressive looking. The alcantara accents in the interior and blue stitching really set it off from a 'normal' 2 series. And the sound....oh the sound! Wow. Having owned an M4 for almost a year and a half, I was very impressed with the noise that came out of this little thing.

Overall, truly an impressive little car!

Awesome, thanks for sharing! Side by side, the M2 does look quite a bit more aggressive

Nice comparison! The M235i looks much better in the metal, but in this rear end photo the M2 is blowing it away. By deductive reasoning, the M2 in the metal should make me weak at the knees!

Thank you for sharing. That is exactly how the M235i looks to me, in the metal and in photos. I'm glad to see how different it looks.

Thank you for being an objective, non-asshole F80 driver.

No worries!

Yeah I said the same thing, side by side you can really get a feel for how aggressive the fenders are.

The rear end of the M2 was my favorite part too. It looks soooo wide from the back.

Sounds like you've run across a lot of F80/2 aholes or something? Just learn to accepted everyone sucks regardless of what they drive until proven otherwise. So much easier that way, lol.

I don't know what I am any longer... Currently I'm an F82 driver BUT may or may not be an a-hole. In a few months I won't be an F82 driver so that means I may or may not be a non-F82 a-hole... I'm just confused.

Was that an f80 behind the 235, Any side by side shots with that?

M2 looks much better than the 235, but that's to be expected for an m vs non-m model
