Contact picture for incoming and outgoing calls

I have two phones which are both paired with my BMW. Mhy personal phone is an LG G3 running Android 6.01, and my work phone which is a Blackberry Z30.

If the Z30 is chosen as a primary phone, during incoming and outgoing calls I see the contact picture in my CIC screen. But nothing shows up when the G3 is selected.

Are there any Android phones which allow for the contact picture to show up???

I paired a Sammy G5 before and the pics did come out from calls and text messages.
On another note though, Iphone will show up pics on calls but not on text messages...at least for mine.

Do you mean the picture of the caller id on iphone show up on navigation screen? If so how did you get it to do that? Thanks

I've had about 5 android phones in the past few years, and every single one had it's contact photos show up in my CIC system on my 2013 bmw. Just make sure your contacts have photos assigned to them in the contacts app.

Thanks. The contacts do have pictures assigned to them, but sadly my G3 won't show the picture. The exact same contact works using the Z30...

I am up for a phone renewal soon, and am desperately hoping to avoid going iPhone...

My last phone was a G3 and I had no issues oddly. When you originally paired the phone to the car, it asked questions like "Do you want to share access with your texts and phone book?" did you make sure to tap yes on your phone?

I also have a 2013 F30 with CIC but contact photo doesn't show up even though all contacts have photo assigned to them. I have Galaxy S7 phone.
Is there anything else that is required for enabling contact photo?

I'm in Canada and just purchased a 2016 340i and have lost this functionality as well as text and email. I'm thinking that the issue I have is because I'm missing 6NS. I was told by the sales rep since I don't have an iphone that I didn't need this. I have read several threads on the forum and it seems I can code my car for 6ns. Hopefully this is all I need.

Can anyone comfirm? Thanks
