LSD crown wheel

if you have welded OEM diff in 335i, can You use crown wheel from 325i or 330i to be instaled on QUAIFe LSD diff?

becouse from what i understand the bigest cost comes from relesing welded on crown wheel from open diff . M'i correct or are they any other parts that have to be sourced out?
