Dinan chip for E90 328i

Is there a Dinan chip for a E90 328i? Cause I did a search and only found chips for the 335i.

No, chips are only for turbo'ed cars because you can't increase the boost (psi) for NA cars (No turbos). sorry man, there are other things like intake and such that you can do.. Its just harder to tune NA cars, than turbo'ed ones.

even a intake will offer very litte (<3HP) gain, but is more for sound..

just stick with suspension work for our n/a cars

ic... I think I will need to get some bmw performance suspension, cause I didnt take the sport package for the 328i. I wonder how much do those go for in dealers?

hmm I'm not sure about the 328i, but for 335i coupe it is around $1,300.. so I would think about that or maybe a little less? All you need is front and rear sways, suspension and some good set of track wheels on some super stickes!

I'd start with suspension as well. Mines a sport, but I would replace some components like new struts and stiffer shocks, but I live in the mountains and I nearly bottom out on some roads already.

You could look into a 330 intake manifold swap.

I'd stay away for Dinan, simply because they are expensive as balls.

But with scoops, an AFE Intake, 2nd cat removal and new muffler or deleted muffer, and some good software you'd definitely see some gains. Of course lighter wheels and sticky tires go a long way as well.

I'm looking into going with a diff with shorter gearing when my warranty runs out.

Here are two examples:
- The 328i 6MT has a 3.23 diff. If the diff from a 328i 6AT (3.73) bolts up, I'd get 15% more torque to the drive wheels.
- The diff from a 335i AT is 3.46. If that bolts in, I'd get a 7% improvement.

Plus, there are 3rd party diffs available (or soon to be available) with various gearing.

Changing the diff is a good way to get more power to the drive wheels without compromising reliability.
