Clutch install
08 XI
Ordering the parts, anyone want to throw out some install pricing? I'm not going to do it myself, going to start calling around tomorrow for quotes, figured if any members looking to make a little extra side money and know what they're doing. |

My buddy got time and is going to do it, thanks for the recommendations. I went with just an OEM kit from turner. Thing about it is you have to buy a bunch of other things that you should replace like gasket, hex nuts, torx bolts, pivot pins and clutch alignment tool. Just kind of surprised a "clutch kit" doesn't come with all that. All this ran around $420 ish.
I chose NOT to buy the fly wheel and roll the dice. I should be good (I hope) because I still have pressure and it engages fine, just slips when you jump on it hard. The fly wheels are stupid expensive and obviously a BMW would come with one you can't refurb. |
