CEL on after BMS stage 1 tune and BMS intake after installation

So I just installed a BMS Stage 1 Tune and BMS intake from Burger Motor Sports. They have both been on for 3 days now and I just had my check engine light come on. I already emailed Burger but I wanted to see who else has had this issue and what has been the resolution?

Thanks!
JF

Mine came on few times but next day it goes away.
I haven't gotten a chance to get what the error code yet. But it usually comes on when I'm in sport + easing it/ flooringit around the track.
Happened once in the highway when a golf R wanted to pull on me. But I still walked him home.

I'm a little confused. Do you have a jb4 or a bms stage 1? If it's a jb4, you might need to update the firmware if your using the OBDii. If it's just the bms stage 1, then it probably is related to the intake.

I just realized I messed that up. I have a bms stage 1.

You will really need to read the code and see what it is. Could be related to intake.

I've had the BMS intake for a month or two now. I've been getting the CEL ever since. I pushed the help button in the car, and the guy at support uploaded my diagnostic information. Called me back a few minutes later and told me what the CEL code was. He said it was the mass air sensor comma reading too much air.

He said that there was a software update that would correct that. But I live an hour and a half away from a dealer, and haven't really looked into going down to fix just that. Honestly, I'm looking to get on Enzo tune, which will fix that.

Mmm,
I installed my BMS Intake 2 days ago and I haven't see the CEL light yet.
But, I'm getting the rough & shaking idle when starting since next day of installation. What I have been seen is that, it doesn't do it in the morning at cold start. My guess, because the rpm is high @ 1000 +
Now. if I stop and let it off for 2 min, even just off and on right away, it will start shacking, so @ this time as the rpm is around 600. That is happening on every start I do during the day. Lets see if goes away or no. Will give it 2 weeks. It really sounds good, but with people on the car and if someone else drive it, will think wdf is this.
Conclusion, I'm willing to sacrifice some turbo whoooch for a NON rough idle intake.

I did it yesterday to Jason. Told me to drive it like that for a week or so. That's why I'm giving it 2 weeks to see how it goes.

Well I guess the intake will work better with the jb4. I'm getting some hesitation during acceleration in comfort mode also.
I just purchased the AFE Momentum Pro 5r from ECS Tuning that has it on sales for $331. Then get the dry filter in a few miles instated of cleaning the oil one. Dont like oiled but it was the sales one

Hopefully this one won't hesitate neither have rough idle while I'll be scarifying some turbo whooch because of the sealed box.
