How're the Autos Holding Up?

Okay, I'm getting into the stupid frame of mind again and thinking about the JB R switch.

How are the guys running high V2 settings and JBS2HRs with slushbox trannies holding up?

Probably too early to tell still, but just curious nonetheless...

Not to slight the OP, but can one tell how the auto trans are holding up. It's not like we have clutches to give you an idea of uptake and driveline feel. Just curious because mine doesn't "feel" any different from when I bought it.

De90man,

How do you want me to bill you when my tranny goes? You could pay by Paypal or wire transfer. Your choice.

Not exactly sure either. The tranny problems that plagued the E46s - they seemed to give a lot of times without warning. Sometimes though, people would report that the gears started to "kick" a lot more...

Terry's car is an automatic. That really says enough. (In case you didn't know, Terry uses his car as the ultimate guinea pig. Tinkering with resistors and such to points of 400whp and 430wtq, taking his car to the drag strip, using drag radials and running sub 12 1/4s). If his car is still running, I don't see any forseeable issues in the short term (1st 50k miles) for the gains the average V2 user is seeing. No one's had the car long enough to see what will happen after that though.
