I think it depends on the car color. I have Anthracite on my BSM E90 and love it.

Polo08816 I can't believe how good the Anthracite looks on the glacier silver. I was so close to pulling the trigger on hyper silver Apex PS-7s for my glacier silver until I saw these. Now I have to decide...

245/40/19 square APEX wheel setup on my car:
I used to have anthracite VMRs, and like the black wheels more.

definitely depends on the car but for GS I'd say anthracite ec7s.

Like others have said it depends on vehicle color. I have a '14 Glacier Silver F30 and I went with gunmetal VMR wheels. I felt that silver on silver offered no contrast and furthermore I wanted something that hides the MP brake dust better. Who wants to clean wheels once a week! not me!

Negative.
I have some 5mm H&Rs, but didn't need them for this setup. Updating this. I removed the 35 series Dunlops for new 255/40-18 Pilot AS3+ from Michelin. These tires are WIDE. The shoulders are huge and very protective and I have rubbing with the 18x9 et42 ARC-8 I now run a Burger 10mm up front and an H&R 12mm outback.

X2. I'm in the Apex group buy right now for the ARC-8s.
18x8.5 ET38 planning for 245/40-18 18x9 ET30 planning for 265/35-18 or 275/35-18 I want the deep concave face of the ET30 9s and by your post (FHLH), you're essentially the same offset with the 12mm spacers on your ET42 rears. Would definitely like to know more about your setup and how much clearance you have in the rears and if any rubbing. |
