Get the escort 9500ci...

They use Laser Interceptor jammers now (private labeled)

It's pretty dang good and installs stealth.

laser intercepter is killer butt...butt. not as upgradable at the antilaser priority.. THAT, has the best coverage, most guns compatible unit.. 500 bucks tho...

9500ci is good radar, but the shifters that come with it are garbage. i used them for a few months when i first installed my bel sti-r+ and it didn't pick up shit.

If you employ a jammer, You must use it CORRECTLY!!!!

NEVER EVER jam a cop all the way to the gun. Jammers may not be illegal per say but inferring with police equipment is a crime everywhere.

The idea here is lider is very hard to use at far distances, its not very hard for a cop to think he wasn't keeping his hand steady..... You jam him 100ft from him. HE WILL KNOW and he will be pissed.

Everyone be smart so you don't ruin it for the rest of us.

As soon as it goes off brake and as soon as your down in a reasonable zone speed limit plus 10 or so... Kill the jammers!!!! That should never take you more then 2.5 - 3 seconds.

Nope, just got a bunch of buddies that are. Truth is cops just don't want to look stupid or feel disrespected. You keep it casual and respectful and its goes a long way.

Some pointers if you get pulled over.

Turn the car off

Greet the cop as he gets out of his car. One of worst parts of traffic stops is the approach to the car. As he/she steps out of his car have your window open and greet them. "Good Afternoon officer". Them hearing your voice that you're not super nervous or scared helps a lot. No cop likes that walk up to the car.

Don't be nervous.... Being nervous NEVER helps. The officer is going to wonder why are they nervous, what are they hiding. It will put the officer on edge and lessen your chance of getting off. It's just a traffic citation. Not a big deal, no need to be nervous. Unless the cop is really mad you can steer the situation with how you address it. Be sorry but casual.

At night, turn on all of your interior lights as you pull over and open all the windows if you can. Officer probably won't say anything but you'll make them more comfortable. If they ask you why, just say I wanted the make the situation as clear for you as possible. (Avoid the word safe)

Oh and don't lie if they ask you about tickets. Thats a very common test they do. They can see it in the computer, they just want to know if your going to be a honest person.

Basic stuff here gleaned from my U.S. Law Enforcement buddies. It works.
