ABS/DSC module swap?

Hi All,

A quick question..

My car is 2007 325i e92..
Can I swap my ABS module with one from a 2010 325i e90?

Would they fit?

Thanks in advance!

Well, I bit the bullet and swapped my DSC unit with one from a 2010 car.

All went smooth, however, I now have one fault I cant get rid of..

5E34 - Longitudinal Sensor..
ISTA cannot calibrate it, nor can INPA.

Now I dont have start assist anymore..

Any idea?

I wrote the VIN using Tool32, but it did not stick..

So I flashed it with WinKfp and now INPA shows the correct VIN..

So VIN sorted, but that longi.. sensor wont sort out!

That is built into the control module, right?

I'd like to also know the answer to this. Is it in the plastic control unit or is it part of the valve body?
