Add sub and amp to boot advice
Hi I've got an 2015 F36 Gran Coupe. I have got the base stereo and would like to add a sub and amp to the boot. Has anyone done this?
I've read that I can tap into the sub under the passenger seat and get a line out from there, but the signal would be amplified so would need flatten out the level. Or is there an audio harness that someone can recommend that I could use. What would be the best way to get the power, remote and signal to the boot? Cheers Micky |

What system do you currently have?
Standard? HIFI? Harman Kardon? .

I've got the base stereo (standard), so 6 speakers, but no separate amplifier that I could tap into.
My plan is to run power from the battery to the trunk and then use a harness to get the line out and remote to the trunk. I've also been told that I need to level out the line out as it is amplified. Just not sure of the best way to do get the cables from the front to the back of the car without damaging anything. |

If you dont want to damage anything buy this:
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/ISO-SOT-0442-...f3bfb8f&_uhb=1 and tap into the wires in that connector instead. This is what i used for multiple retrofits and it works like a charm |
