Creaking noise when reversing

On reversing in to my drive this evening, with the wheels nearly on full lock, there was a distinct creaking noise from somewhere (335d, approx 16K miles). Popped out a few times this evening, noise was there each time I reversed in. Not noticed any problems when going forwards.

Any thoughts?

Brakes creaking as you crawl backwards with your foot on the brake pedal?

Are you sure it's not body flex? Try it with the windows all very slightly down? If the car has shadowline trim it may well be that rubbing on the felt door top seals as the car flex's
