Mpe

Hi all
Loving my new m3 6 days in
However, as fabulous as it sounds I am self conscious of the of the Mpe I got installed at the time of delivery. It does sound tremendous and all my friends love it. Maybe I just need to embrace it
I am going to give it a little more time BUT if it is all still a bit too much and I revert back to stock would there be interest in a very lightly used Mpe amongst forum members.
Nb I did not get tips on it straight up because I wanted to see how it sounded.
Also the dealership painted the raw tips black which actually looks good

As I said going to give it a little longer (while maybe a week or so but just gauging whether there is any interest. If I decide to sell, will post photos and discuss price.

Cheers

It is quite loud when first fired up. However; the stock exhaust is also quite loud when first fired up (although, less so) but more importantly - the stock exhaust doesn't sound anywhere NEAR as good. Seriously - it doesn't. The MPE should have come with the vehicle stock. No way no how would I take an MPE off a F8X and put the stock back on. Just say no.

I test drove an M4 with MPE. I found it to be quite obnoxious and definitely not worth the $$ considering it's just amplifying the ordinary sounding stock exhaust imo.

I really hope I'm satisfied with my F80 sound when it arrives.

Which dealer had the M4 with the MPE fitted?

If you decide to swap your MPE for a stock exhaust (and $), please PM me.

Alternatively, I have a Magnaflow that by all reports is not as loud as the MPE and has a deeper tone that you might like more. The Magnaflow is currently fitted to my car so you can hear it.

The Magnaflow bolts straight on in the exact same position as MPE so it would be a bolt-off, bolt-on change.

I'm located in the Lower North shore.
