Jeez dude!!

tyre pressure affects the handling fuel economy and tyre life.

On my daily driver I do it everytime I fill up (2-4 weeks) and the bmw since it rarely gets driven (once every few months) everytime before i drive her.

I check mine weekly. Vacuum and wash weekly as well. A bit ocd yes, but I like to keep a tight ship so to speak.

Ya, once every week or two.

Tire pressure is CRITICAL to so many aspects of the car. And ALL tires leak to some degree.

I used to be slack until I got an air compressor with a tyre inflator with digital readout. So much easier than doing it during a refuel where I'll most likely be on my way somewhere in a rush.

Once a month here, I noticed that the car's tyre pressure sensors only tell you when there's a sudden loss of tyre pressure.

But if there's a gradual loss of pressure over a period of many months, the tyre pressure sensor doesn't notify me. There were so many instances were my tyre pressure dropped from 38psi to 35psi over a period of 3 months or something and I was never notified and I always re-calibrate the tyre pressure through iDrive every time I pump my tyres.

There was another time where I had a flat tyre and the tyre pressure sensor notified me straight away and the tyre was on 29psi at the time and had a nail in it

I do 36psi for the fronts and 38psi for the rears, that's by BMW's specs. Apparently the fronts are advised to be at a slightly lower pressure to reduce understeer on the E9X/E8X chassis.

You'll notice that if our cars get pushed too hard around a corner they have a tendency for slight understeer

I check mine 2 or 3 times per week. But I do have a compressor at home, so that makes it a lot more convenient. Also not a bad idea to use a tread depth gauge to check for even tire wear while you are at it. Under/over inflated tires can ruin your tread life, make your car handle like shit and cost you a lot of extra money in tire replacement. Especially if you are a repeat offender. Checking your tire wear is a good way to see if you have any potential suspension issues. You also may find a hazardous condition while you are down there, like a nail or cut in your tire. Like someone else here mentioned, a good way to remember is to check them on each fill up. Also if you want to know the correct pressure, check the label just inside your driver side door. Do not fill the tires to the PSI printed on the tire sidewall. That is the tire manufacturers MAXIMUM air pressure, not the correct PSI for your car.

Every 6 or 7 weeks, or less than 2 month intervals. I normally need to add around 1PSI by that time.
I keep my digital pressure gauge in the car to know how much pressure has been lost.

About once a month for me, unless my spider senses are tingling and something feels not quite right or looks obviously low.

yeah checking them once a month is ideal, unless you have a TPMS that shows you the pressures in the tyres..

do not let the iDrive tell you, it will only tell you if there is a sudden loss of pressure

Only on race night.

1-2psi difference in rear tyres makes a world of difference on hard launches.
Around 37-38psi in rear when tyres are HOT, seems to be perfect on the street.

I run 40 psi all around on my 19's. A little rough on the street but I rather get a bit more wear life out of them.

Check them once every month or two. They tend to hold air very well.
