Yes I noticed that one.

There was a cheaper one last year, however sub £500 for a nice car, you can't beat

Yes, cheers to you Brigand putting me onto these guys, most of the deals I look at are on here. Sub £500 is damn fine for an S8 surely indeed!

There is a cracking no 530d on there as well (posted it on main uk bit)

£317 for a 530d with Nav £10k miles.

It's even less than I pay for my 330d.

Well I've bitten.

Mustang is cancelled and S8 was ordered.

Cheaper than that deal though.

What a result! When looking over the Mustang last week in the showroom I wasn't hugely impressed. I know the car is all about he V8 really but the interior and actually the look of the Convertible was pretty poor. Admittedly the coupe is a much better looker but the S8 is in another league inside, outside and performance!

Agreed. An £82k rrp car for £495 pm is a bloody steal IMO.

Perfect for those motorway hustles!

Thanks mate. It was your deal that I was sorry I missed. Heard rumblings they were being repeated and sure enough they did.

Can't wait to get it now as I'd been reading your review and watching videos to whet the appetite.

Feel free to elaborate further in your review post and keep me updated on things.

How's the mpg? I do mostly motorway driving so hoping for 30mpg!

Based on 6 weeks of ownership:

- cruising on motorway (steady 80 mph) initially 26 now closer to 28 mpg which is remarkable for almost 600 bhp and 2050 kg car.

- it very much reminds me of my f30 330d in terms of lazy, torque driving - pulls like freight train from 1700 rpm

Straight line performance is just shocking. No matter what you had driven before.

I had proper blast along Jaguar F type V8 few days back - guy stopped at petrol station to ask me what da hell is that???
