BMW M2 Coupe Interior Photos at Brussels Auto Salon 2016

This topic follows my earlier topic with an initial impression and includes all the interior photos I made of the BMW M2 Coupe on display at the Brussel Auto Salon; http://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1214282

This is a really large series, so I will try to upload them all immediately so that we end up with one long line of photos.

Any questions drop them in the comments below...

No clue... It was not dark enough that I noticed.

Hard to see in the pic but you think the Tacho has the M shift LEDs in the outer ring of the RPM gauge? You know the Amber into Red lights?

Both, white with good light and red during low light situations.

The instrument lights are NOT like other M cars. At night the numbers are orange as opposed to white.

Is it just me who has a good memory or do other people have memories like a goldfish? Do you people not read threads on this forum or watch videos? If I see something then I take note and remember. I can remember EXACTLY how I know the lights are orange. It is in the EVO video at 0:09...

Is it just me or has the quality of the interior plastics gone down drastically from the Exx series ?

I don't know, the E82 had some pretty poor quality plastic compared to even my Z4M. The E92 plastics were definitely better than both and probably better than the 2 series although I have not spent enough time in one to compare.

Another cost cutting measure, I suppose. Order 6MT and you'll get a matching pedal for free!

are those cf interior accents standard? even at the idrive?

anyone else notice this? I don't mind the seats, but why the leather so damn crinkly and not fitted very well to the seat? Even in the back? And for some reason the stitching looks like its going all over the place, not in a straight line lol.

My F22 Interior is vastly improved over my E82 as far as squeaks and feel. Im certain this interior will suffice.

CF is standard, and the fit and finish is pre-production my friend. This car was build somewhere in September or something.

MR

You really are pulling rubbish out of your backside. They do not put pre-production examples on motor show stands. That's a good idea isn't it? Spend a lot of money showing off your new car and it's not even built properly!

Good grief!

Hey,

thanks for the awesome pics!

this might be a silly question but is the CF finish smooth or can you feel some texture/weave?

I better answer this before Mofomat does

Its open pore, it can be felt to the touch. Not smooth like the m3/4.

Thanks for sharing those pix!

What's that sport mode adjustments you have photographed with options "chassis" and "drivetrain"? Is the car having adjustable magnetic dampers after all?
