Can anyone recommend anyone who can do coding in or reasonably near the Columbia SC area?

We're not local, but we can take care of this remotely for you.

We provide the cable and software, you just need a Windows OS and Internet connection while hooked up to your car.

Steve,

I had Rob from these forums code my car remotely- worked like a charm. My mirrors fold with the fob, rear-view camera at all speeds, warnings disabled for seatbelt and mmi, enhanced angel eyes, mmi off when door opens, auto-lock when engine off, digital speed in the cluster, door handle lights in reverse, and other stuff.

All I needed was the cable and a Windows laptop. Took about 1.5 hours accounting for download time for necessary programs.

His reasonable charge was well worth it.

Let me know if you want his contact info

Thanks for chiming in as I an really looking to get some coding done. Some things just should've been included from the factory because everyone codes them in.

I'm going to give coding a shot. I feel like I'm comfortable enough to do it although pressing go that first time is going to be pretty intense. Once I've done it a few times to my own car I'll be able to help out local peeps. I'm in Charleston though.

Glad that you got your remote services done though. Which new feature do you like the best?

Folding mirrors, unlock on engine off, mmi off when door opens and no more damn mmi warning screen were easily worth the whole effort.

Not sure about rear camera at all times - now you have to hit the button to turn it off -or switch screens. Aldo you can only turn it back on when stopped
