320d GT Loan Car

So, the 335d is at Cotswold BMW for a couple of days to have a door seal replaced due to some slightly excessive wind noise.

Tested with their new smoke machine proved a slight leak from the NSF door seal by the B post.

Can't praise the level of service from these guys enough, always helpful, efficient and accommodating.

They have lent me a 320d GT whilst working on my vehicle. After 2 days and nearly 500 miles in the GT in has reminded me just how amazing the 335 is!!!!!!

Don't get me wrong the loaner is a capable car but not a patch on the 335d.

Leaving the the dealership onto a busy road immediately hi-lighted the lack of traction, turning left with a sniff of power and the rears are immediately struggling for grip.

The difference in power and performance is also huge. Accelerating up a slip road to join a dual carriageway and the power drops of so quickly and the engine feels wheezy.

Suspension from the MSport felt firmer than the 335 and has re affirmed the need for ACS springs.

The beast will be back tomorrow and the last 2 days has made me realise just how good it is!!!

Hop in a mini Copper for 3 months.

You will hug your car on return stroking the bonnet!
