Reversing Camara

Had my X1 for a week now have had trouble a few times when selecting reverse thus switching on the reversing camera it's like looking through a fish bowl.
Seems the rain water is running off the boot and hanging in droplets on the edge of the boot rim in front of the camera.
Any one else experienced this.

Apply some Rain-X to the lens, and maybe some wax to the surface around it, so water rolls away easily.
