These are the scumbags who broke into my house last Christmas and cleaned us out of everything we owned of any value!

And yes we were one of the 2 families mentioned that they took presents from under the tree.

Hope they enjoy their time away!

Don't think the sentences are long enough to be honest given the number of homes and the value of what was stolen. Little deterrent value...

They should have all received the same maximum sentence fuck this differing sentence stuff.

They were all involved, 3 years per house.

Classic statement though,

'Their motive was purely financial..'

I always thought that was sort of the main reason for theft.

I rang the police earlier as the article says they were caught with some of the stolen items, I had my TAG watch taken, I'd love to have it back but I reckon there's no chance

Tbh I don't see any justice being done. £320k worth of thefts equates to a lot of misery and heartbreak caused. With the current penal system they'll be out a lot quicker than sentenced. Whilst inside they'll get three square meals to clean living quarters etc etc

Makes my blood boil to think that we get to pay some ridiculous amount like £40k whilst pensioners who fought for this country live in cold damp houses in fear of theses sort of should have been aborted at births

Been there myself many years ago so feel your pain even though in our case they didn't trash the place mainly because my mum and dad were in the house and disturbed them.

And there is the problem......you can half those sentences as they will be released on good behaviour. So as a working person, can a younger person nett £80,000 (£320,000 divided by 4) in 18 months to 2.5 years? No is the answer.....so crime does pay. Sure they didn't receive £320,000 but still, they are probably receiving some form of benefits too.

Deport them to Syria with a Top gear style tattoo about ISIS on their forehead.
