Ignite E98 ethanol race fuel

Posted this on the MA bmw fb page, figured I'd throw it out here too.

Whatsup everyone, Wanted to put out a feeler for the 135/335 guys. Looking into getting 4 55 gallon drums of Ignite E98 race fuel. I would be looking to sell 2 or maybe 3 of them.
Price would be 300 each, they could be picked up in Dracut, ma or I could offer delivery within a reasonable distance.
Just throwing it out there, let me know if there's any interest.

I would like to point out this is a steal. Being about 5.45 a gallon vs almost 9 dollars at the nears gas station for me at least. Too bad I have no room for a 55 gallon drum.

High ethanol content means you have to use that gas very quickly or it'll turn to junk, might have to wait until spring when people start driving more again.

I believe the shelf life is 2 years if it is the same as the 260gt from sunoco. You could also add drops of octane preservatives.

260GT is 10% ethanol and, e98 is 100% ethanol. You could very well be right that the E98 has a higher shelf life than is typical of the pump gas you'd get at any regular station. That stuff doesn't last 3 months in storage. I just really hate ethanol sitting around but I suppose if they are selling it in that large of a quantity it has to be able to 'keep' for a long time.

Unopened drum should last 2 years. Opened to atmosphere it collects water fast. My stock car buddies only buy it on race day and the drum is newly opened same day.
