Can I do anything with the iPad cable?

So I have a kniovo 455 and I'm sick of it not connecting the way it's supposed to. I have a 2007 with L7. No USB in center console. Just auxiliary in. Car has every option I believe... I put in a tablet with 4g just for use in the car. What are the possibilities of switching out that I pod connection for use with android? I don't need controls but looking for a solid audio in.
