Talking Estoril Blue M2 Spotted in NJ

Seeing is believing, tonight as I made my way to the gym my eyes got a workout and I am a believer.
The car has great presence, sitting under the dim street light it seemingly jumped out at me. Its is beautiful.
Camo on the emblems, No badging on the rear, Manufacturer plate.
My guess is that it was sitting there specifically to taunt me as I had just throttled down our Estoril Blue F30 off a Rt 3 exit to my gym.

Love it! Thanks for taking those pictures.

Is it me or LBB at night looks a lot more "blue" than teal?

My thoughts:

Sunlight has a natural yellow tint. During the day, the sunlight mixes with the blue hue in the paint and produced the shade of green/teal.

At night, since this does not occur, all you see is blue.

I must agree. I love the LBB for being "Estoril" at night and "Teal" in the day!

Yeah there was two there by the LA Fitness in Clifton last night, saw them as well with my friend's M6, very impress with the M2.

You are all welcome!

If it is LBB trust me at night Its really tough to tell the difference between LBB and EB as there was absolutely no hint of teal/green emanating from the vehicle and my EB F30 was parked not too far away. I compared the color with a few glances.
The yellow hue from the street light was pretty bright and that didn't even create any real teal/green undertone in the paint on the vehicle I saw.
I know I could be wrong but I honestly think the car was EB and its all marketing.
We must not forget that for the right amount of money BMW will paint your car just about any color and its not unlike them to have individual color cars run around the streets.
Wish I wasn't in such a hurry to get my workout in, I would've loved to hear it fire up.

It is definitely LBB.I have already seen the X5M and X6M a bunch of times in LBB and I know what the colour looks like.Your pics do look like Estoril Blue because it is so dark out but you can still see a little bit of the teal blue colour in this pic of the front bumper.

Thanks again for the pics.

I like it because its like getting a car that can be one of four different blues at any one time

I saw one today in NJ, maybe the same one. I literally walked outside and it was parked across the street.

Oh no !

They destroyed the clean car look by installing these ugly amber reflectors on the front bumper... Hope iND will have painted ones soon to fix that !

If Europeans don't need these ugly things on their cars, why us North Americans do ?
