Replacing the Pump & Thermostat

Has anyone used any of these products from Amazon prime? I'm looking to replace my water pump and thermostat this week. Please chime in asap or if you have better products else where.

I'd rather go from a proven place like ECS or BMW. For the cost though, ECS has this assembled with german made parts: https://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E90-33....0L/ES2763074/ for $428.. so cheaper...

Or bmw factory replacements: https://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E90-33....0L/ES2763064/ $587

Both come with fluid at that price. the $428 is with 10% off right now.

Personally I went bmw factory replacement for piece of mind (despite they still need replaced eventually).

Go OEM. Be sure to get the aluminum bolts that secure the water pump - these have to be replaced after use. I've used both ECS Tuning and FCP Euro and like them, so wherever is cheapest.

Are genuine BMW remanufactured? Fcp's website states that, ecs does not....

How hard is this job as a DIY?

Straight forward DIY job.

I paid less than that for a brand new, OEM pump off an eBay seller (even came with bolts).

I stopped even looking for BMW parts on Amazon. There's too much variance between the models, and even production dates, and they simply aren't a reliable source unless you know 100% certain the part will fit. Other sites like FCP and ECS will usually have the correct parts for different manufacturing dates and their prices are competitive.
