Doesn't make sense because

Doesn't make sense because
4-channel internal amplifier (17 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms)
The L7 is at 40 watts per channel already into a 2 ohm speakers
I believe.(for the doors)
this is less than what the stock amp puts out.
Also unless you use speaker outs to power it from the l7 amp
you can't interface it with the logic 7 fiberoptic feed to the
L7 amp .
You can add a sub to a logic 7 system but when trying to upgrade the
whole thing it gets to be a pretty big expensive job.
I don't get that this thing has a tiny output for door speakers
and a 300 watt sub designer must have been a bass head.

Better to add a sub and do something else for the phone

better to add a sub and do something else for the phone.
What year is your car does it come with and idrive or pro radio.
What options does it have does it have USB?
If you have USB and idrive you can get a wma3000 to
interface your phone i belive.
Or there is a Dension gateway 500s bluetooth.

I would look at adding usb to that

I would look at adding usb to that if you already have
a Mulf 2 high then all you would need is wiring an programming.
Then you could use a wma3000.
If you want to add streaming bluetooth then you need a combox
retrofit.
I would talk to Bimmertech about both of those.
If you want to go aftermarket there is the Dension gateway 500s
bluetooth.

People do the retrofits themselves but it requires some electrical and coding
skills. See 6fl and combox retrofit threads.

There are threads on how to add a sub here are some.

I've seen the other methods, i was just hoping for something more budget friendly considering i just wanted a little more sound w/bluetooth compatibility
