MPPK or Jb4?
So i just got my brand new 15 335i m-sport. I had a FBO N55 135i.
I went the PPK/MPE exahust first on the 135i and eventually did the JB4 and FBO when the speed wasn't enough. This car is a lease.. how comparable is the stage 1 or JB4 stage 2 on map 1 vs the PPK? I know the JB4 has more power but unless something changed with the f30 application I really didn't like how my 1 drove under partial throttle. Maybe I'm answering my question - also feel if I go Jb4 that is eventually going to lead to FBO again and I'm not sure I want to spend that much on speed this time. I guess the question is horsepower for horsepower how comparable is the stage 1 JB4 or stage 2 map 1 vs the MPPK/MPE on the dyno

Maybe consider Flash Tune? You'll get more power than MPPK and smoother delivery than JB4 (plus CEL delete, e85 use and speed limiter removed). You can Flash back to stock before Lease turn in.

You get more power. more features, more maps and flexibility for way less money. JB4 has a max boost feature by gear. You can set the max boost you would like for the first 2 gears for better traction control.

The MPPK is pretty low on expectations. Its a very minor bump in power. If you want to hold the modding just grab the JB stage1 and that will give you double the bump in power over the MPPK and give you the same drivability of a stock tune just with a little more pop. The stage1 is an additive tune so it has the same power curve as stock except a couple PSI added on top. Mike |

I agree with everyone to go for the JB4 route, but you can't go wrong with MPPK as well. I got MPPK due to the warranty just in case.
if you're debating, just have a good read in this thread: http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...ight=mppk+dyno

I would do this as well! EnzoPerformance on the East Coast and if you're in the West Coast there's GSR in SoCal and Evolve in Texas or something (can't recall).
