My lap on the Nurburgring during my euro delivery

Here's my lap at the infamous Nurburgring Nordschleife. Craziest track I've ever driven on, but so much fun. I took it pretty easy since it was my first time. Wish i could have done more laps...

It was October 3rd, 2015 at 6:05 pm, right after a VLN race.
Was cool to see the race and check out the track. There is so much to do there. Also saw the Nurburg castle that over looks the track.

Oh man that is cool! Thanks for sharing you experience. I'll have an opportunity to drive there one of these days. It's on my bucket list. Congrats and welcome to the 2er family!

Great video! Thanks for posting this. You picked up your car a week or so before I picked up mine, bit I didn't make it to the track unfortunately. Your video ride-along was the next best thing!

I actually picked up my car on 9/19. Opening day of Oktoberfest

Glad you guys are enjoying it. For my next ED I think I will go to both the Nurburgring and SPA.

Dream come true! Thanks for posting!

The first car that past you was a Z, not a GTR.

And I'm pretty sure that it was my friend Rob. The white M4 was my friend as well. The Ring is great fun. it takes about 100 laps to memorize it and really feel where you should be and what you should be doing.

Thumbs up

Great video. Thanks for sharing. I don't blame you at all for taking it easy -- not worth risking the car in that situation! Looking forward to the Laguna Seca video.

I only went once when I was there. My friends on the other hand between all of them they have over 1000 laps. I went to the Hockenheimring more because it was cheaper, closer, and less taxing on the cars. I'm back in the states now and I miss Europe every time I get into my car.

Oh I see. Did they give you a ride? I really wanted to get a ride from someone who knew what they are doing lol. I passed the Hockenheimring on the way. In my next ED I really want to visit a few of the famous European tracks... I feel the same way as you. Getting in my car makes me miss the German Autobahn and the easy access to all those famous tracks.

Yes they did give me rides to help me learn the track as well as ride with me giving me turn by turn instruction. By comparison my fastest lap was a 10:17 in my Mustang GT 5.0 Track pack and my friend Chris ran a 8:02 with me in the car in his GT-S prepped E92 M3.

on Hockenheim I did better. I ran 2:24 and my other friend ran 2:18 in his E92 M3.
