Hey,

I have 2008 E92 with Logic 7. The car has SA640 (telephone prep) and SA663 (BMW Professional Radio). My friend has a 2009 E92 and is upgrading to the combobox so I am being "handed down" his TCU.

The TCU PN is 84109205929.

I am going to order:

• 84316938762 - Microphone
• 84506928461 - Antenna
• 65159135687 - TeleMatics Bracket
• 07129906048kt - Nuts for TCU (4)
• 41248147832KT - Nuts for Bracket (4)

After pop this all in, adjust the optical cables as needed (I have the PDF from BMW), and code the car I have everything I need, correct? Any of the PNs wrong for my year (12/07 build)?

And adding this TCU to the car will NOT give me USB as well, correct?

Adding a Mulf 2 Hi gives bluetooth and USB.
2006 only had the TCU. After that it was some
version of the Mulf or combination of Mulf and TCU.
That's and alternative.
You must have a Nav/idrive in order to get
streaming bluetooth music if you add a combox for some reason
at least that's what the reports on the board say.

Ok! So if I grab the whole part back there (MULF/TCU) and stick it in my car, as long as its coded fine I am golden? Don't really care about streaming - the USB was a curiosity thing. I definitely hands free (was told the car had it when I bought it and stupid me didn't check the radio menu).

put in a combox, if lazy put in Mulf 2, I wouldn't bother with TCU surprised its not died yet most do



USB is brilliant and adds value to the car brings out of dark ages, BT essential, combox does all that and streaming....
