325d 2009 auto water leak rad -swapping rads
Hi
Just discovered a leak in my water radiator. part number for a e90 325d auto water rad is 7794488 fits 320d to 335d.. I can get my hands on a water rad but the part number is 7788903 (according to realoem fits mainly 316d to 320xd). both the rad Connections look the same(diameter etc). My question is can I use the 7788903 as long as I add the control sleeve which I can take off my damaged radiator? Thanks in advance Last edited by thuss; 11-26-2015 at 07:00 PM.. |

physically looks the same - when you mean thinner are you talking about internal thickness of the aluminium tubes?
But looking at bmwoem the above two rads do go ontosome same model cars but the 7788903 is not listed against 325d - I'm just concerned if the back pressure will blow the 7788903 rad. |

Well if you look here:
http://www.buycarparts.co.uk/oen/7788903 and here: http://www.buycarparts.co.uk/oen/7794488 You'll notice that a lot of the aftermarket rads for those references are infact the same part number. |
