well yesterday I gave the car it's winter treatment, a heavy lashing of TFR, a pressure washer, clay bar whole car, platinum polished, gtechniq glassed and touched up with coded paint to finnish, must say it looks showroom, and feels showroom. no flies or tar spots left on her at all!

clay and gtechniq together really are great products and the water is beading up well in this rain

Looks really nice.
The only thing I would suggest to properly finish off is some form of "tyre black", probably in the form of AG instant tyre dressing etc..

That look clean

Just two questions though

1 when can you do mine

2 do you do price match as the local asylum seeker wash does a full clean for £2.99 plus free swirl marks.

unfortunately I do not possess the talent to even do swirl marks let alone give them for free, so question 1 is irrelevant!

Don't talk to me about swirl marks.
I've just been to see mine & the first thing i noticed was the swirls on the doors.
The sun was shining, for a change, through the showroom windows to show up the blatant marring/swirls.
I originally intended to get my detailer to prep car, but he couldn't make it unfortunately.

What makes matters worse my dealer said he will personally polish them out by hand, my reply, don't even bother !!!
I'll get it done at a later date.

Know what you mean.

Learnt the hard way myself - got marks all over the boot. Luckily was the only panel.

Now always tell them don't wash the car.

Funnily enough when fat kid 1 picked up his st he advised the dealer not to wash it to which the salesman replied " glad you said that the best cleaners on holiday that week ".

Another job for Dad Detailing PLC !!!

Looks excellent. How long do you spend on the rims? Takes me about 2 hours to get them looking spotless and sealed....thats after 5 hours on the car

Sometimes I wish I got a 5 spoke style rather than 624M's!

the rims Arney too bad if you use some decent cleaner, and my top tip...

get 4 cheap yellow sponges wet them, stuff them behind the brake caliper. leather the inside of wheel in cleaner and then take it for a slow drive a few times around the block.

remove sponges *if they are still their* and rinse
