Poke holes in this pricing model for the GTS
Here is a model for the pricing of the GTS based on available data, including sources. Based on my understanding, I think that the largest uncertainty is coming from water injection system, OLED tail lights, and roll bar.

You won't get the roll bar in the states.
You are not including the fact that only 300 people will own one in the states. You are paying for exclusivity + the tidbits. |

Moot point on the cost model only 300 in the states will get one, and I still say they will go for 200k with mark up or better. People have a thing for spending more when there is little supple advantage BMW. All marking, and to drive demand which makes perfect sense to me. I like my cash too much to buy into the hype on new cars.

Market value for limited production cars can't be itemized, as others have noted.
Keep in mind that some of the itemized costs you posted are also somewhat arbitrary. BMW may offer the same option on two different models, but charge more for the option in the higher tier model. Interesting breakdown, nonetheless. |

Point well made!!
The same sort of analysis was done on the, so called, M6 Competition Edition (only 60 to the US) which shot a big hole in the validity of that cars price, too. These "special" cars are, IMO, nothing more than poorly disguised attempts to cash in on contrived exclusivity. |
