BMW's "M" Exhaust Tips

Anyone just add the M Performance Exhaust Tips to their car?
Wondering if they bolt on, after removing the stock tips, or do they slide over the stock tips?
Thanks in Advance

Also wondering this, not sure how it will enhance the look of the standard exhaust on the 228i msport exhaust? Anyone just have the tips on?

I'm pretty sure you'll need an adapter to fit the m performance tips on the stock exhaust. The end pipes on the mpe are slightly wider than on the stock exhaust.

Cyba Carbon Fiber Tips Installed!

I opened the box and found the Cyba tips well packed and undamaged.
Arrived 1 1/2 weeks after I ordered them.
1. Use a rubber mallet to tap the OEM tip loose.
2. Just grab the old tips and pull them off.
3. Take the new claps and remove the bolt so it can clear the centering post on the tailpipe, slip over, and replace the bolt.
4. Slide the Cyba tips over the tailpipe to the desired length.
5. Place the clamp over the inside end and tighten the 1/2" bolt, and just snug it tight.
You are done, 20 minute install.

Those look great! Nice DIY. Is the amount the tips stick out adjustable? I might prefer them pushed in just a tad bit more.

Where did you get them? I haven't heard of Cyba.

hey man looks great! can you link to where you got them from?
Also a picture of the before vs after? Would help in seeing the difference lol, im sure its substantial. would love to do this instead of opt for a complete exhaust with no performance gains!

Your "before and after" : Pic #7, the tip on the left is OEM and tip, on the right is Cyba 3 1/2" Carbon Fiber. LOL:
Your ""link where you got them": 1st post has the link of where to get them...LOL
