Harmon Kardon equalizer settings
Hello,
I have the LOGIC 7 HK audio set in my 2015 3 series 328i xdrive. I am not sure what the equalizer setting should be. I feel that in the drivers seat I am not feeling the full impact of the audio output. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. Tols

HK centre speaker distortion
I'm having real problems with the HK centre dash speaker in my F31 - I get distortion on pretty much every woman presenter on BBC R4. Most male presenters are OK (although occasionally they go too!) and I can't find any music that I can recreate the issue on.
The dealer has replaced the centre speaker but the new one is just the same. I explained the problem on the service follow-up call and they've offered to investigate further, explaining that they can raise issues to BMW directly and it may be something other than the speaker itself (wiring, amp etc). I've dropped it off this morning but the service rep on site was very dismissive - "you'll probably have to just put up with it" - not great considering it's a £600 option and I listen to a lot of R4. Has anybody any similar experience? |

The one thing I don't like about having L7 on is that it seems to really take a lot of the punch out of the music (listen to anything by dire straits, for example, with L7 on and off and pay attention to the percussive parts).

Many novices don't even consider staging and imaging; and its entirety possible someone might like the frequency balance with L7 off. If you're one of them then by all means go with it!

As do I. I thank GlennQNYC for his research. His settings give a nice clean sound.
I will say it's a bit hard to believe that with bass transducers under the seats there is still not much really low bass energy. But then again I'm used to a home system with JL subs. |

I set everything to neutral and let Spotify do the equalization.
