Welcome from another N Texan. What's with the user name? We had an X1 before the current F30. An E82 and an E36/8 too.

Welcome fellow N Texan. What kind of car did you get rid of for your BMW and what did you get? I am on my 2nd one, a F30 335i. My previous was an E90 328i.

I was out in Austin taking care of some Business and got home and needed to get a pic on here to please the masses. LOL.

Red Bread> The user name comes from a house I owned in Florida before I moved to texas some years ago.

RedRaiderDavid> Did not trade in anything been a KR f350 owner for the most part. Always wanted a 3 Series. I was just lucky and grateful the time came.
I just hope that my addiction to Mods as in my truck does not move to this car, But only time will tell. Have a great night everyone

Started looking at 435i GC's but really liked the F30 LCI updates, and previous history with the early N54 and only M Sport 340i's led us to a 328i. Happy so far.

Ohh wow. I guess I missed it. Hope everyone was OK. I'm pleased with the F30 so far as well.

Thanks, wife was alone, I had the kid. Some teenagers in a stolen car t boned her. She had a bruise and some minor burns from the airbags, but certainly nothing like the damage would lead you to expect. First responders were beyond impressed with how well the a pillar held up. We'd been debating other brands, but I think this cemented BMW with her. Miss the N55, but love the lighter, rwd chassis so far.

2013 328I 15K miles

Nice looking car, congrats! I too moved from a full sized pickup to BMW, parking became a PITA and it was only a 1/2 ton. You should first look into coding. Its nothing performance related but there is are features you can change on these cars with some software, a laptop and a cable. So far all that is all I have done to mine but a JB4 is in the plans.

Here is my current 335 (black) and previous 328 (silver)., I've only had the 335 a couple of months.

I was wondering if she took a side impact because it's on its side. I hope they got the ones that hit her.

As I'm sure you and Sandpiperx1 know there are simple mods that can bring the N20 up to at/near stock N55 levels. So it's there if desired.

I'm pleased with the fuel mileage improvement over the X1 35i to the N55 w/ 8 speed AT, although it wasn't bad, every little bit helps.

Hehe, our 328 has been getting 13 mpg. Hoping that picks up just a bit.
